Ok, so you have decided to go full-time working from home. Now you are saying to
yourself, where do I go from here? First off believe in yourself. I know you have
thought long and hard about this decision so believe in your journey, believe in your
destiny, believe that you can make it all happen. You are in control of your life and
you take responsibility for your future. You are now ready to start your business full
time.
Most people who start a home based business, including many "moms" do ONE thing
that kills their business straight out of the gate: They treat their new business like a
hobby, or a simple sideline. Not good! Treat your business like a business. Get up at
a regular time, get dressed and go to work just like you would at your job. This is
your business and you need to treat it with respect and integrity or your business
will surely fail.
If you have kids at home you have the advantage of including your children in your
business. There are lots of things your can have the little ones to both spend some
extra time with them but also teach them about responsibility and work ethic. Have
the kids stuff envelopes,lick stamps,staple papers, fold pamphlets, etc. Kids will find
these activities exciting if you make it exciting a time that you can all spend together
talking about the day you all had.
Enjoy your home based business! You have the opportunity to change things up a
little, take breaks in the day to go to the park and play with the kids or walk the dog.
Even though I said treat this like a business, there is no reason why your business
can’t run on a different schedule than most businesses run, after all you are the boss.
